Employment Services

This program is designed to educate students on the skills that are considered essential in any employment situation, including personal appearance, job-related social skills, working as a member of a team, organization, and work ethic. We seek to collaborate with different business organizations and establishment to use for internships as well as possible future employment.

Training and apprenticeship:

• Business establishments are expected to provide us with opportunities for exploring opportunities, training, internships and apprenticeship services. During the course of the program, these services are embedded and are vital to the success of the program. Students will conduct field visits and learn about these establishments, their services and jobs. They will also investigate job opportunities for after graduation. Today the following establishments have been leading in this collaborative effort:
• American University of Beirut departments namely Cafeteria and Library, Diet Centre, Diabco, Learn and Play, Golden Tulip Plaza hotel, and Cookie Dough boutique for children.

EMPLOYMENT:

• We seek to continue collaboration with establishments and pursue potential employment. We also seek to collaborate with other NGOs and human rights organizations as well as other DPOs such as Arc En Ciel and ABLE Organizations to support job seeking opportunities and follow up as well.
• We also collaborate with these organizations by preparing and delivering training workshops and seminars for the concerned in any establishment to facilitate the job integration operation and make inclusions in work a natural procedure.
• Our team will continue to follow up on our students even after they are employed to secure a smooth transition and ensure the proper services and respect to the employees as needed.
